  1. Improving my Ranger's Longevity?

I was giving a real answer. Mods like an exhaust won't harm the trucks durability while providing some increase in performance (and sound like a ricer). That's about it I'm afraid. You could do earlier oil changes using spec appropriate fluids and filters, since I disagree with 10k oil change...
  2. Improving my Ranger's Longevity?

Modding and longevity typically don't go together. Bigger tires add stress to driveline and brakes Cold air intake may or may not add any power but will certainly allow debris into the engine. Ect..

  5. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Not a ranger of course, but this was something I couldn't do until now; Got a 3D printer for my birthday. (Mock up, hence why I'm holding it in place. Still figuring out mounting options)
  6. Ford's new patent on bed rails.

I can see the broken necks from kids and idiots now from falling off cause people will surely sit on them.
  7. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

Before I traded my ranger I happened to spot 4 little paw prints on top of the cover. The kicker? No trail leading to or from that spot and the hoodliner appeared untouched. Like it materialized out of thin air and vanished the same. Really been bothering me deep in the back of my mind...
  8. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

My frontier is missing its engine cover as well. But sad thing is, they only charge $50-$65 where as ford charges absurdly higher. Same material as well.
  9. I know this kind of topic is frowned upon but....

Ah, well at least I can read their posts so if there is a quote chain I can at least have all context. I can't imagine I ruffled many feathers over there yet hah.
  10. I know this kind of topic is frowned upon but....

I'm confused if you're calling me out or not lol. Some of them seem decent but the forums are not very active so hard to me to get a handle on the typical frontier forum goer. As far as I can tell, I've not been put on anyones ignore list over there. Here? Well seems majority of them Texan...
  11. Look at my Ranger parked next to stuff

That's probably why it's lasting. /2nd potshot at DeeZee

Lol. Canyons(excluding WT/Work truck trim) easily go for $50,000 and up around here. Want a mid-size GM for under $45k? Chevy Colorado. Want cooled seats for your capitalist loving ass? a $50k GMC Canyon is your best bet. Aw snap you want more GM gots ya. How about a Canyon Denalli? Only a mere...

That's kinda cheap for a GMC haha.
  14. What did you do to your Ranger today?

GMC's are nice, just a bit pricey these days. I like the styling choices of the F150, most notably the 15-18 generation.
  15. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Honestly I kind of wished got it sooner, just didn't have the means. The ranger was kind of one of them vehicles "Like ****, I'm stuck with it now..." situations. Interior was clean but just weird. Button layout didn't make sense, and hard to see. Suspension was bouncy as my F150, the driver...
  16. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I mean I did, but I'll do it' again :p Yes that's a god **** street complete with a turn-lane that randomly ends in grass field. Welcome to Illinois.
  17. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I looked at it at the Nissan dealership I traded in for my frontier. Gave me $26,000, selling it for $29,000. Not terribly bad highway robbery... Don't question my grammar, I too had a stroke reading this post.
  18. Decisions Decisions

It'll be fine. They're usually held in by velcro. If water won't evaporate fast enough just yank it out for a day.
  19. Lab Report on 60k Mile Transmission Fluid

Didn't know blackstone did ATF testing.
  20. Decisions Decisions

I'd go with the bed rug. If anything, softer place to sit/lay down on occasionally. Surely I'm not the only guy that sometimes lies down in their truck bed... edit: Oh you have the lariat trim. Get both. You got the $$$
