Wood weighs between 30-35 lbs per cubic ft, depending on how dry or green it is. At 4’x2’x5’ (Ranger bed), you’ll be at ~1,300 lbs. Now add your weight, gasoline, and anyone else...
As soon as I saw that rack, I thought, “Man, that sure has lines that would look great on Jack’s new truck - I wonder if he’ll stumble across this thread?” 😄 If you play nice, you might be able to work something out with the OP on those long side rails. :wink:
