You could get it with the XLT 301A package, but yes, it wasn't available on the 300A base XLT. 301A was a small addition (~$1000 CAD) with things like reverse parking sensors and the 110v inboard power outlet and the sport appearance package (Magnetic Gray trim and wheels).

There is a solenoid that activates when you switch the high beams on and off. Basically, the light never changes, but the cutout is moved out of the way, allowing the light to fully shine down the road.

There's a light kit with 4 lights instead of 3 that fits with the OEM Lariat grill. I think that one would fit better in your case but the mounting points should be identical. Just make sure you have the 2 screws on your grille mentioned in this video.

The wheel is wider, but the offset is identical from what I've read. This makes the wheel stick out slightly more both inside and outside.
