Sold my truck and these never made it on.
Local to SD and South orange county only, will not ship. I am located in San Marcos and willing to meet up if the distance is reasonable.
New OEM front hubs with Moser extended wheel studs. Includes new OEM bolts for bolting in the hub and new OEM axle...
No ball joint seperator I was able to buy or rent from autozone or O'reillys was tall enough to clear the ball joints. And the one listed in the ranger service manual, I am unable to locate anyone that rents that particular one which I imagine is just taller to clear them.
Alright, so rethinking things a bit, I will not have a shop do it, I will re attempt again at another time.
Not that I want to spend this much on a damn ball joint tool, but this is the one that is listed in the shop manual-
204-592 Lower Arm Ball Joint Separator Tool (freedomracing.com)
Went and purchased a couple gear pullers, those didnt work. Bought a 2lb hammer as I feel im at the last resort and it seems to work for people on you tube, but not working for me. Seriously at a loss here.
Ive bought 3 ball joint separators(not forks) and none are large enough to clear the ball joint studs. Any tips on getting these to break free? Im kinda stuck in the middle of trying to do my suspension because I cant get these to break free. Thanks
Not nec done to the Ranger, but done to parts that will be going on the ranger.
Installed some extended wheel studs into some new front hubs for the ranger.
Alrighty, finally got around to getting something done. Got the extended studs in. I wanted to press them in, but I ended up just using my impact gun and a stud install spacer-
Ill probably put these hubs in when I upgrade the front suspension next month. Stay tuned.
Modified some built rite shovel mounts to work with the RCI rack and mounted a shovel. 4ft cable lock for security(dont want my shovel stolen lol) and a failsafe if the mounts give out, preventing a shovel shooting out the back of the truck.
Just got an email from RTR about the new grill
https://www.rtrvehicles.com/collections/ranger-rtr-parts/products/rtr-lightbar-grille-w-led-lights-19-22-ranger-all
Pricy, but looks good.
Wish they would come out with mud flaps that would work with their flairs...
I tried the steeda tb spacer for the mustang 2.3 ecoboost and it didnt work. Interferance with some plastic on the manifold. Either one would need to be designed specifically for the ranger manifold, or you could probably slightly modify the manifold to fit the spacer.
Added a middle beam to the RCI rack and mounted the traction boards on the inside of the rack, kind of a pain as the 12" rack doest have a lot of room to work with inside, but a quick run to the depot for some longer cariage bolts and washers and got it spaced out enough to clear everything inside.
