I don't know what you need to do with your truck but have you looked into a Maverick Hybrid?
I got a Honda Grom a couple months ago and it's averaging 100mpg. It's tiny and easy to ride
I did it myself. It's doable yourself but it took a good amount of trial and error. I remember you don't use all of tumblers. I'm sure a locksmith could get it done in a couple of minutes.
Too be fair to the dealer I could have taken the truck back after a few days. They told me I could take it while they waited for guidance from Ford. I have an extra vehicle so it was just easier to keep it there.
For everyone having problems with it not working it's the battery and possibly the BMS sensor that attaches to the negative battery post. I had the same problem, battery would test OK when tech would do load test but the truck would always say ASS was disabled due to charging. After a week of...
Im guessing the message you are seeing is the "deep sleep" message? I was getting that every time I parked the truck along with auto start/stop never working due to "vehicle charging". They had to replace the battery and BMS sensor on the negative post. Battery would always pass the load test...
I have one of those in both my vehicles. Different brand though. They work great but I wish I could manually set the low voltage cutoff, mine shuts off at 11.8v which is too low for my liking.
That one you linked looks much nicer since it has a timer. I might replace mine with that.
I have some of the vinyl letters and have no problems with them. Going in 2 years. Mine were made from 3M vinyl. Do a wet install and they are pretty easy to line up.
I wonder if the wires are swapped on the motor in the mirrors. It would run backwards when it should run forward if so. You could probably flip them at the plug if so
Did you by any chance install Lariat headlights and change the settings in Forscan?
I was having a similar issue, Hyper flashing but all turn signals worked. Turns out the brake lights were going out intermittently. The cause was I loaded the incorrect settings when making the Lariat lights...
