Hey all,

I'm certainly no expert on this but read through this thread and decided to hit Walmart for some 20% tint (priced at just under $10). Traced over the light shape with paper and pencil and transferred that to cardboard to make a stencil - going a little bit wider than the light to allow for slight wrapping. It took a couple tries but I was able to get both on without removing the light - because I'm lazy. I used a credit card to tuck the edges around while applying heat with a hair dryer. I didn't do the best on applying it but it looks great unless you really lean down and inspect it.

Nice!! I think after a few walk-bys you'll probably end up redoing it just for the sake of it because removing the lamp is super easy. :sunglasses:

Agreed. I just got it yesterday and can't stand the orange. I bet it'll last a week or so until I pop 'em off and do it right..

Are the fender flair lights on a lariat led or halogen?

Thanks

Which side markers did everyone buy from diode? Wondering if it’s worth getting 20$ brighter led’s. Thx y’all.
I went with HP3's in the side marker and side mirror. Bright enough for me.
You should buy the amber versions.

Thanks for updates. Wonder if I did the white bulbs under the orange markers.

I don't know. I assume not because a red LED is recommended for a red lens. The amber LED looks good to me.

I'm still waiting for anyone to make the fender markers in clear to match the mirror blinker lights...

Ordered them on EBay and love them. I was worried the smoked ones would not be as bright.

Bought mine on eBay, was talked into it by a member that said the new dark ones came with LED bulbs that looked better than the OEM ones. On my blacked out truck, he was absolutely right.
