My friend just picked up a P365 right before Christmas. It looks like a nice EDC and we've both been so busy lately we haven't been out shooting yet,I can't wait to try it.

Every time my girlfriend asks me why I need another gun I just open her closet and point to her shoes and pocketbooks. :stop: That usually ends that discussion...lol
You will enjoy the P365. It is one sweet shootin' gun!

Springfield Armory has one called the Hellcat that is the direct competitor to the P365. I haven't shot one, but the feel of it is very similar to the P365.

My wife is on board with weapons...her EDC used to be a Sig P938, but now it's a Glock 43.

43's my IWB EDC...my comp 1911 is a big stick but I'd only carry that on my chest or OWB:)

I just sold my 938 to a customer back in October. I use to leave it here when I first bought my house and was still living back in MA so I didn't have to always check mine and travel with it. The problem is every time I sell one I end up replacing it with some more expensive!

It's my only revolver but it's a decent one...fires 38 plus P for days when I don't feel like dealing with the 357 mag's fireball out of the 2" barrel :whew::LOL:

That must throw a nice flame lol . My buddy back east has a 44 Mag and IIRC with a 4" barrel,it was 20+ years ago. That thing just about threw your shoulder out.

Received my new pistol mount and I like this one a lot better. It holds the gun very tight and all you need to do is twist and pull and it's a quick release. Very strong magnet too,it's hold ups to 45 lbs. I tried both my Shield and 1911 and both held strong but the 1911 holds a little better because there's no polymer on the frame like the Shield has. Very easy access to the grip without any interference with your knee.

Best option IMO.

Keep you holster on you, no muss no fuzs.
Not a good choice for everyone. Made for one gun, not all gun models available, can’t mount with lights, etc. Company is a good responsive company but they are limited. If you vary your edc, it’s not a good option. My recommendations to their rep was figure out how to make a universal or adjustable model.

HAHA, that won't work for me. I have more shoes than she does and my boots cost twice as much as hers ...work boots, hiking boots, western boots, backpacking boots, tactical boots, hunting boots, muck boots, boots for church, and I know I'm forgetting at least one pair ;)

Just to update I've been using this all week and it holds the gun perfectly in place and has very easy access to the grip without interfering with your leg. The magnet is very strong and even with my 1911 I hit a few speed bumps (faster than normal) and it never moved. Highly recommend.:like:

I think I am gonna order a 2-pack of these. I think I want to mount it on the console just in front of the hand brake. I have also looked at mounting it on the door just above the cubby/drink cutout. For emergency purposes (close range) I can shoot left-handed if needed.

I carry SOB and when I get in/out of the truck, it seems it would be easy to put it on/take it off the door with ease. Plus if you approach from the drivers side, you will never see it. (I may mount in both places.)
I keep a weapon with me at all times but I "hand carry" when I drive to work. I usually keep it in the console cup holder while driving to work and then in the console when I get there.
