Awesome to see that there are other's out there that want to build a quarter mile/autocross/road racing monster like myself! I've never been into NASCAR, but I've always loved the looks of the racing trucks! Are you planning on going with the 4 link kit from Control Freak, belltech kit, or are you thinking of making your own means to drop it? My ideal build will be kind of a play on the Hoonitruck from Ken Block, obviously not AWD but something along the lines of what it looks like. I absolutely LOVE that truck!

Here you go, I took a video of my exhaust from outside of the truck. I think it sounds amazing, I especially like the sound of the revving down off boost. Only thing I want to do still is add another exhaust hanger to help keep it from moving so much under boost.

Control Freak...here’s the front...all parts ordered and due here at the end of the month...
Very nice. If 2wd trucks were available up here I’d probably be looking into that as well!

What is the diameter of the pipe from the engine down pipe to the front of the resonator?

The pipe that goes from the downpipe to the resonator is just over 2.5in and I mean just barely over. I used all 2.5in piping and 2.5in stainless band clamps and it was enough that it worked out pretty damn well. Keep in mind that I also used that super sticky black fiberglass exhaust tape to seal my butt joints and then band clamped over them to complete it. Hope that helps!

Yes, thank you . I was hoping it was 3” but we can work with that...still waiting for the Freakride suspension parts.

I used the same paint on mine and then installed a Go Rhino black tip.

Here's a pick of my Go Rhino stainless steel tip in matte black (pt# GRT3410B) that I bought off Amazon for $40. Used high temp matte black spray paint on the visible part of the stock pipe to match.

Did you have to cut the pipe back, or does it slip on pretty flush?
