Dang, so much for getting the 1:1 car rovers
I'm willing to bet its a Ford thing and not an LED thing. It was mentioned in another thread that the BCM was making the headlights "blink" while driving and it had to do with the BCM checking the status of the bulbs. I'm wondering if we are seeing the same thing at startup. The only reason we can see this is because leds fire up so fast and with a halogen you wouldn't see it. I was going to see about ordering some capacitors ( required for older leds for proper DRL function ) would help things, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I’m going to throw my car rover h11’s I bought for the fog light into my low beams and see if they do the same

It happens with all the lights (fogs, lows, highs) irregardless of what bulbs are installed I've noticed. It happens with the stock halogens too, you just don't notice as easily because their not instantly on like the LEDs. So it's the truck, not the bulbs that is doing it. I don't see any issue with it necessarily.

CarRover made me a deal to try out a new set of bulbs they just came out with. I'm super impressed. They are in the 1:1 format (no extra box). I was initially skeptical about how well they would work due to the lack of being able to rotate them, but I guess I was wrong. Holy crap are they good! Nice focused tight beam. They installed super easy and clear the dust caps with ease. They are also really quiet. I couldn't hear them with the dust caps off! I think you guys will be really impressed as well. The only downside (and it's not really one) is they I'm going to have to aim my lights again. I had to turn down the headlights due to the old LEDs, but these are going to have to go back up. Probably back to where the halogens were by the looks of things. Here's a link if you want to check them out:

Did you have any issue with the passenger bulb not rotating to lock in place? Ive got 2 sets of these bulbs since I was going to do the fogs also and none of them will rotate on the passenger side. I cant even get it to go enough to connect the wire harness. The drivers side went fine.

I initially had a problem with both low beams, but I eventually got it.

I gave up for the night after destroying my hand. I’ll give it a go tomorrow but so far it wont budge enough for the dust cover to seat. I got the wire harness connected but its blocking the cover. The light was sitting at 11 and 5 at that point and I know thats not gonna work.

If this is any indication of how the fogs are going to be, I may scratch this plan completely.

The Auxitos I have are excellent bulbs and they're adjustable as well. I didn't have to adjust the high beams at all when I installed them. The low beams I just had to lower the level of my low beams a little is all.

The resistors on them aren't overly bulky and everything tucks right into the light compartment and the dust cover fits on and closes like normal.

The prices on those bulbs aren't bad and I believe amazon currently has a $10 off coupon on them at the moment.
I ordered off the links and they work great. Only thing is, did you have any issues with the wires touching or burning on the fan housing once you twisted the weather caps back on behind the bulb or how did you fix that. Thanks

If used for low beams, do they not blind other drivers? Used as high beams I could see. LED fogs are bright enough now that I get flashed at times.

I don't know what the deal is with the Car Rovers and my truck but the left passenger will not lock in enough to attach the dust cover so they're are going to have to go back.

Myself and 2 others have spent all morning trying to get one headlight in with no luck.

Have you tried without the o-ring? The old Car Rovers I used had o-rings that were much thicker than what came with the halogen bulbs. I switched o-rings and it seemed to help a little.

Yeah, I tried swapping the o-ring and removing it completely. Even tried using channel locks to turn the housing so it would lock. Nothing worked for some reason.

@weasel1 -- I'm looking at the Sealight S1 set, they have all 4 (low and high) in a kit for $86. Your OP says they fit in the high-beams, do you know if the low-beams fit as well? Getting a fully matched kit is something that is really interesting to me.

Auxito offers both high and low beams in a separate set, which wind up being ~$5 cheaper overall, but I don't care about price that much, more quality and fitment. These are 12k lumens, so not the same ones that dgm suggested:
High: https://smile.amazon.com/AUXITO-9005-Headlight-HB3-Wireless/dp/B07WMG43QJ/
Low: https://smile.amazon.com/AUXITO-Headlight-Bulbs-12000lm-Wireless/dp/B07TQLGGBR/

The ones that @Dgm3306 linked to are $50 per set, but are also 16k lumens:
High: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07WCSJQYC/
Low: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07WD6G42D/

Any inputs from you guys/anyone else who may have purchased/installed these bulbs?

I don't see why they wouldn't fit. They are fairly compact. Honestly the only problem with the Sealights I have is they don't have the same output as the Car Rover's. They seem to be dimmer. One day I'll get around to getting high beams to match the lows.
