Did you make use of the gear lock out capability to keep it from up-shifting on steep Uphill and Downhill sections?
Yes definitely, love that feature
Try using S mode,it will give you a little more flexibility on your shift points. On a few real steep inclines and declines I was using S mode and liked the way I could control the shifts rather than just locking out the top gears.

I did try S mode but then if I remember correctly tow/haul turns off and I didn’t like the way it shifted. But sometimes I do put it in S mode and just shift it all manually. I like being able to do that

Impressed with how well it handles the snow. Drove around in the snow a lot in 2WD and never could not get moving or keeping traction and traction control worked well when putting it to the test.
Does yours have the Rear locker?

I missed this post before. The Raptor wheels look great on white! Are those 265/70R17 tires?
Thanks! Yes, 265/70R17 E KO2s. I got the Es because of the 3 ply sidewalls and I don't think they ride much worse than stock.

Truck loaded down to 6100lbs, trailer loaded to 4100lbs (both numbers rounded up), averaging 15-17L/100km, cruise set to 110KM/H

I installed a TurboCharger on an RX7 like yours (Only Red). At that time it used a 4bbl carb.
Effortless redline in overdrive. First test drive, the hood popped at 140MPH.
Good thing it opens backward.
A later project was a 2.3L SVO turbo installed in my 1980 Pinto, fastest top end I ever owned.
As you can figure, I was excited when the 2019 Ranger arrived!

I may know a thing or two about RX7s and turbos as well. Must be a Ranger thing??

COOL!, The one I did was a new car with 7000 miles on the clock, It was WAAAY mild compared to yours, being setup for street use.
My friend drove it for 25 years before selling it.

The RX7 is the reason i even looked at the Ranger in the first place. I needed something to tow it to the track and i didn't want a full size truck being that i live in the middle of a city and would also be using it for my daily. i honestly have no need for a full size either. I feel the Ranger and the mid size trucks are made and marketed for someone in my situation perfectly.

Dmac... whew thats awesome. i'm really really wanting this trailer for camping and mountain biking this summer.
it's a 5,500 lb dry weight, i calculate ~6,500 full wet & gear.
you think it should tow ok?

We're heading to the Chicago RV show next month looking for a travel trailer. How do you like your rig?
