Honestly, not even sure where to post the state of Oklahoma as far as sections go; is it the Midwest or the Southwest? Potato, potato, I suppose.

Anyone in OK know of any good trails, climbs, off the beaten trail camping areas? Talimena is a place I'm familiar with and I'm sure the Lawton area has some too. Anything close-ish to OKC metro?

Thanks.

**Mods, please move if this is in the wrong section.**

I went to camp gruber but it was nothing but shale rock on all the trails so I didn't stay very long. Last weekend I went to keystone lake orv and it was decent. It had mostly mud and sand so I had some fun. I was the only truck in the park so I didn't get too crazy.

Bumping this from the depths, new Ranger owner and I'm looking for trails as well. I'm a newb to off-roading so something simple to start out with.

Oklahoma has several wildlife management areas that are open to camping fishing hunting hiking and dirt / gravel roads to explore. one I like is near the Red River in Love county.

Thanks man. Looking at taking a few days off to decompress and hit some trails.

Oklahoma has a lot of unpaved public roads that can be fun you just gotta hunt them down on google maps etc. They have one excellent off road park, but its hours from oklahoma city near Davis.
