So I got an invite for a paid survey.

Could this be a scam? The payment seems kinda too good to be true.

I looked into this and it's from a company called Survey Squad. Their ratings are terrible and very few get their payouts and if/when they do it takes months. I'd stay away! You can read their reviews here.

I moved my invite to the Spam folder and then deleted. If it's too good to be true, it is not true! No one pays you that much for a short survey. I've gotten surveys from JDPowers, but we know they are a legitimate company.

I looked this up and Focus Forward is a ligit organizaton...this does not mean the email is ligit....I would contact them directly about the email. Honorarium is money received for doing what can be done for free... How did they get your email address? Sold data by Ford, Hacked? I am leery of the amount of money...

Part of their signup process is to answer some questions online to be sure you "qualify" and then they'll call on the phone and ask some more. Probably want your bank account number to send your payment to! Sure, give that out to a stranger! Sure sounds like a scam.

I did not think it sounded legit, so I deleted the E-mail. That's just me being cautious.

I got a survey from 7th Sense after buying my truck and got a $25 Amazon gift card for completing it.

We also received the Focus Forward one. It is a legit company, but keep in mind what it says in the bottom:

Please note that providing the requested information does not guarantee that you will participate or be compensated. A Focus Forward representative will contact you with additional questions to determine your eligibility.
What I imagine will happen with this one is, you fill out a survey, and then they will contact you to work for them and fill out surveys on a more frequent basis. It's one of those work from home companies. If you'll ever get 275, I don't know, it says they don't guarantee it...

Not a legit one that I've seen - always check online and you will get the info you need based on others results. There are legit similar things - I did secret shopper visits for a local credit union - different locations and transactions - got $10 per :)
