Hmmm, well in that case the motor becomes fully exposed to heat in the tank after about half a tank down. I wonder at what point the sloshing fuel doesn't cool the motor at all.
Have you ever pulled a fuel pump? I don't mean that sarcastically.

Have you ever pulled a fuel pump? I don't mean that sarcastically.
A long time ago but I look at drawings of them and have seen them outside of the boxes a few times. Lol.

Good typical pump assembly...Notice the pump motor is close to the bottom so this is a minor almost hypothetical issue.
Look... I'm not saying its a big deal, but it ain't nothin' (intentional double negative)
You'd have to run pretty low to expose the pump... and do it a LOT.
I think we are on the same page, if not the same paragraph.;)
