Weather Radar on SYNC 3

I heard some place you can get weather radar live on the display
Is this true? Is this something that is offered by Sirus XM?

I don't have my truck yet. Just questioning if anybody knows or has heard of this.

Looks like an additional fee from Sirus XM called NavWeather.

• Bold and simple graphics, plus visual weather overlays on your navigation screen
• On-screen severe weather alerts

It's a little hard to find but it's in there. Does not work with a CarPlay phone plugged in. I believe you navigate to "SiriusXM Apps" or something similar.

It's not worth that at all. You can get 10x information from your favorite weather phone app.

It's enabled in your 6 month trial so you can try it out for yourself.

Yes, and it's free for 5 years. Weather Radar updates every 15 minutes. If you use the nav you can see what's along your route too. These have been around for years in many vehicles. They are basic information not true detailed info like apps on your phone.
