Looks like those wheels also come in a 17x8? So you might be ok if you're sticking to the same width as stock and a 30mm offset. If you do end up with some rubbing just remember there's some play in the crash bars and they can be moved forward slightly to give a little more clearance. If that doesn't work, the 2" level worked out great for me. I felt the same as you and wanted to keep most of the rake.
I've got the steel 16" wheels with 255/70/R16s on right now. Canceled the new wheels and tires, thinking I'll just put bigger tires on the 16s and see how they fit before diving into wheels and offsets too.

From what I can see, 265/75/R16s should be almost the same size as 265/70/R17s so, if those fit and allow full lock, I can in theory measure and see if they'd fit with 25mm farther out.

The fact that my 6 month car insurance bill showed up today and property taxes due this week totally didn't have anything to do with it haha.

Thanks for sharing your experience!

I was thinking the same thing. I'm still rocking the steelies and was thinking of a 265/75 set on them as well. If you beat me to it, I wouldn't mind seeing how they look.

Yep, exact same sitch i ended up in: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/tire-size-fitment-master-thread.1680/page-6#post-78740

My Fuel Shoks are black and i got Conti All Terrains. Now it looks like i need a leveling kit to make them work.

I only see a 3" Readylift leveling kit? You say you got a 2"?
Co-worker recommended a 4x4 shop that lifted his F150. They put a Zone Offroad 2" level kit on my truck. Got the wheels/tires on and they still rub the crash bar covers and the weathertech mudflaps. I took the crashbar plastic covers off and think will just let the tires wear out a spot in the mudflaps.

After 15 pages of ideas I have the best one and it is easy. Use the same size that Ford engineers gave you. LOL

A few of us were able to get a little extra room by loosening the crash bar bolts and pushing the bars out ~1/2”.

Which size is that?

The 255/65/17?
The 255/70/16?
The 265/65/17?
The 265/60/18?

Just Curious.

Or the 285/70/17 of the Ranger Raptor?

Ya, and aren't they all 4 ply tires for hiway , and 4 plies don't always work well on rocky roads while putting around the mountains of any state? Just asking.
My 255/65/17 claimed to be off-road tires but were only 4 ply so dumped them for a 10 and later an 8 ply MT.

Your truck looks really good! I think that the tires and level kit makes a huge difference in the overall stance and ride. I have the Nitto Ridge Grapplers in that same size along with a 2.5" RC Level and have no rubbing issues. I still can't find the right wheels so I'm just using the stock sport wheels for now.
To bump your older post... You are running these tires and leveling kit with NO rub issues WITHOUT any crash bar mods?

Correct,I never modded the crash bars and no wheel spacers. I have over 2000 miles on them now with plenty off of roading and no rubbing issues at all.

the lighter fits loosely at the rear, and tightly in the front. Lighter dimensions are 5/8ths thick and one inch wide.

I saw on another thread that youre running those tires at stock height, have you tested them at full compression of the suspension? I would probably do those tires with a 2" spacer level or debating the fox leveling kit set at like 2.5". Very interested if it rubs at full compression
