You're just talking about two different tiers of quality. 2.0 is Fox's entry level shock. A small upgrade in control and better ability to resist overheat than stock.

Icon's Stage 2 setup is more expensive for a reason. More travel, larger, nicer pistons, valves, etc. If you're dropping a couple grand (with install) anyways, might as well get something that's going to transform the truck's ride an handling, not just offer a mild improvement.
I'm a bit suspicious of that explanation from someone who's getting free / subsidized equipment for their truck due to their position as a writer for Outside.

What you've said basically boils down to, "It's more expensive so it must be better."

Any more reviews on the Ford lift from anybody who has one? I'm trying to decide if its worth the extra $1,000 over a puck...

With this ford leveling kit, what's the biggest tire you can put on with the stock black out package wheels (17s I believe)? Looking into a BF Goodrich all terrain tire.

I think I'm going with 255/75R17 in TA KO2.

Anybody know a Ford Performance Dealer that will ship? My local dealer isn't listed on the FP website.

Any Ford dealer should be able to order Ford Performance parts threw there Ford Authorized Distributor by now. I was told this at SEMA this past week by a Ford Performance parts person. Had my dealer try it yesterday, and my Fox leveling kit is on it's way. My Dealer is not a Ford Performance Dealer either.

@LevittownFordParts.com will ship you Ford Performance parts (usually quite lower than MSRP too). :like:

@j0shm1lls I contacted Levittown, thx for the tip.

Has anybody had dealer install the kit? Wondering how much they charged since I know I can do it myself but it looks like dealer-install is required to maintain warranty. Just wondering if it is worth it or not.

My dealer quoted my $450 includes alignment.

My dealer quoted $400 including install and alignment so I told him to pull the trigger and get it coming. Gonna throw some new rubber on too.

I hope that Ford Performance posts a video similar to this one from Icon so I can make an informed decision. Looks like the Icon STAGE 2 system works substantially better than stock.

I would of posted earlier, but I had a lot of things done with the Fox suspension and after... I can say that the truck rides better and the handling is night and day different. First off I no longer get seasick in curves or turns. The body roll is mostly tamed and you get a better feel of the road. It’s not numb anymore. And bumpy roads aren’t gonna shake your fillings out. I also has the dealer install the Decked system. This is what it looked like...

I’v since added a Leer 100XR topper and it hasn’t messed with the rear height too much. I may investigate some Airlift air bags. I’ve used them in a lot of my trucks and they should fix the height with just a few psi and won’t ruin the ride.

Just added the Fox kit today. Looks great and drives great. Top notch kit. Would recommend larger washers for bottom of struts. Took 6 hours and alignment needed max camber adjustment.

My Ford kit is on order through the dealer. I also have a Leer topper so I ordered some rear 1" blocks so I'll have them in case the rake is ruined by the weight of the topper. I like a small amount of rake anyway, just my tastes I guess. I'll post pics after install.
