I have the weather tech front and back and I have to say I am not all that impressed. After all the favorable press and their big adverts in the car mags I thought ok I spent 40 large on a new truck what's a couple hundred more. The back tray which is one piece fits pretty good on the passenger side but the driver side catches the door and has curled up a bit. The fronts fit well but I figured they would be heavier, very thin but I like the fact they are a tray and not just a mat. Bought them for my wife's new Hyundai Veloster and they fit perfectly

Just ordered the Husky Exact fit front liners from Autoanything.com . Had 20% off coupon so with sales tax they came to $109. Their web site is screwed up & only shows the rear liner. Chat doesn't help. You have to call. The Husky part # is 54701.

That’s very surprising. I’ve used and sold a pile of Weathertech liners and I’ve never heard of a single one not fitting perfectly before!

I just got my order of the Weatherbeater Husky liners and I love them. They cover everything and like how they overlap the sill to keep dirt off the edges of the carpet. I have them for my Mustang too.

I’m very happy with mine too. The weather is starting to get rainy and crappy here and they’re doing a great job protecting the truck.

I'm interested to see how the Husky Exact fit ones work out. I have not ordered anything yet and I'm hesitant to order the WT because I really don't like the hard plastic feel/sound of them. I know they're robust but they just feel cheap to me. I actually work at a Chevy dealer and the GM mats are an AWESOME material. I have been told they are manufactured by Husky but haven't been able to confirm.

Just picked up the Ford tray style liners. I really like the way they feel a lot but I have one gripe about them. In the back they're asymmetrical where the driver side mat lays over the hump and just kind of tucks up next to the passenger side mat. I know I'll forget all about it once it's loaded up with the dog and grear but I just thought it was kind of cheesy. Aside from that one detail, I love the way the front mats fit and feel. Much nicer quality than the hard plastic feeling of the Weather Tech mats. Let's hope they hold up!

*I know I could trim the rear but I would rather have the overlay than any gap across it. It's raining right now but maybe I'll take a closer look at it sometime. :sunglasses:

I'm very disappointed in the WeatherTech mats! They are cheap feeling hard plastic, they move around a little when you step on them, and they don't lay flat against the floorboard in some areas. They also feel very hard on your feet because they are so thin and hard. I cannot believe they charge $175 for these mats!

The Ford OEM rubber mats I had in my Ford Raptor were extremely thick, heavy, and somewhat soft (as you would expect from rubber).

I don't like the way the Ranger OEM mats fit in the back, so I may keep the WeatherTech in the rear and order the Ranger OEM for the front.

At the moment it looks like the Ranger tray style mats only come in a set of 4. I would say though that the material is MUCH nicer feeling than the WT mats and I'm definitely glad I went with them.

Sadly I know they only come as a set, but I may have to bite the bullet to get the front ones... :crying:

I got the WeatherTech mats the day I picked up my truck and they're great. If you snap them in they don't move a bit and they clean up great. I had Huskey liners in my RAM, and while they worked great they were very difficult to get out due to the sharp spikes on the back and were very stiff. Since they wouldn't bend I would almost always end up dumping half the contents of the mat back on the carpet. The Weathertech also seem to clean up better so far.

I didn't go with the Ford mats because they don't cover as much. If you notice, they don't cover behind the gas pedal. I assume this is because they are thicker and may interfere with the pedal but that was a no-go for me. When my feet are wet and muddy I don't want stuff dropping on to my carpet. Perfect OE floormats and carpet are a huge point when selling/trading in a vehicle. Definitely worth the money

Has anyone seen both the WT and huskys that can comment about which one covers better or have pics of the drivers side?
