Hi guys...I have a Garmin 55 dash cam that I like to install with park mode harness which allows constant monitoring even when vehicle is off. Question is there 3 wire tap requirement and I'm wondering if anyone can help me identify which of the fuse (in cab) to tap in to.

  1. First is anything that is only on when ignition is on.
  2. Second is constant on power supply.
  3. Third is easy which is ground.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would tap into the accessory delay relay for your switched power. You can buy fuse taps, so you can cleanly tap into a circuit without having to mess with your truck harness. I imagine there should be an empty fuse slot, under your dash, that you can tap into for constant power as well.
