Pepper got a hood stripe today... I am not sure if this is something I want to introduce in my shop, but is clean, easy work, I might as well ... YAY/NAY?

It’s a nice subtle accent alone...or along with a center piece:like:

I would have stayed in the valley and stayed off the ridges.

Would you'll open up on the valleys at the top as well? or cut the top on the valley across as well?

I am ordering a program to precut these in different shapes and stuff.

What about the lower areas on either side of the hood? they come straight forward then turn in at the very front. I would interested and seeing that w/ the valley.

Stay in valley on sides and back.
But one could go up and over hump in back to windshield. Racing stripe look. You could also do two stripes on top of each bump. Dual racing stripes.

Just a thought but what about doing the raised parts in black? Starting at the angle on the left and right side and connect across the top and front and leaving the rest the main color?

Kudo's for trying something different... but it reminds me of the stripes they are putting on the new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk's...

The double raised sections just scream for some sort of accents. I'm thinking some pinstriping that mimics the deck stripes used in the 60's would look really good, but subtle.
