brake light issue

Have had issues with my Ranger brake lights, turn signal arrows on dash are blinking rapidly like a bulb is out but the only issue is the brake lights dont work except the one over the rear window works. This has happened 4 times but goes away for a couple of days. Hope it straightens itself out!

Had a Ranger in the shop the other day for all brake lights inoperative. Ended up being a pin fit issue on a ground wire located on a main connector inside the frame rail on the driver's side.

was the ground accessible?

yes it was. it's on the inboard side of the frame rail under the driver's seat. it's a fairly large connector.
