Starting yesterday, my truck starts chiming the 3 chime song as soon as I turn the truck off. No visual indications or messages displayed. If I close the truck door they stop. Come back outside to get into the truck after a few hours and the chiming starts as soon as I open the door.

Checked all the doors are closed, windows are up. Any ideas?

THanks

Assuming nothing is malfunctioning, it usually means your headlights are on.

Thanks, the headlights are on automatic so they come on and off by themselves. This just started yesterday.

I don't mean to ask dumb questions, but are you sure you didn't bump the switch with your knee? This is a problem that's been noted in other threads.

Yep I feel dumb now. It was the headlights. I had bumped it to on instead of auto. Thanks for the head check.
You're not alone. I did the same thing one day when I was detailing my Ranger. Went through the same processes you did. o_O

One thing I've learned - some times it is the simplest things that are easily overlooked.... Like - "is it plugged in?" :)
