Admin Update:

This afternoon, Ford accidentally made available the website configurator for the 2019 Ford Ranger (see below). According to Ford, it's still in draft form which means the pricing seen on the site is still preliminary and may be subject to change when the "official" version is made available next week, but we don't foresee that the pricing will change much, if at all.

Be sure to stay tuned next week for the "official" configurator launch and be sure to share your configured model and pricing with us at Ranger5G.com!

Updated with screenshots from when the configurator was available:

Original Post:

Not sure how long this will be up, but you can play with the configuration tool now. Not all of the descriptions are filled out for the packages and I'm not seeing any more numbers on the engine.

Here's the link: https://shop.ford.com/build/ranger/?gnav=header-tools&intcmp=show-bp#/select/Config[|Ford|Ranger|2019|1|1.|100A.R1A.....RCB.RETAIL.99H.RWD.44U.XL.]

Cool! Be careful though, the configurator pricing and models aren't exactly accurate yet. Should be updated next week

According to Road & Track:

Today, a configurator page for the 2019 Ranger went live on Ford's website, indicating the truck would start at $24,000 with a base two-wheel drive regular-cab model. There's a problem with that: Ford has no plans for a regular-cab Ranger. A Ford spokesperson told us the configurator went live by mistake today, and its information is inaccurate. The spokesperson also confirmed there won't be a regular-cab Ranger.

We won't have to wait long for pricing though, as we're told an accurate Build & Price page for the 2019 Ranger will go live some time next week.

Hah was this an intentional leak? Seems like manufacturers are often "accidentally" revealing their configurators ;)

Either way it's cool to see and play with early. What's everyone configuring?

I read elsewhere this statement from Ford on the configurator:
The configurator went up early. Pricing isn't finalized, though Ford says both pricing and the full configurator will go up next week. Ford also says there will be no regular cab available for the 2019 Ranger.

well that sucks it was fun to play with at least - I'm really curious how the live pricing will look. I'm interested in a crew cab in magnetic. I ended up stuck between an XLT and a Lariat with the technology package, FX4 package, etc running for between 38K and 42K based on the other options. The sport appearance package turns the bumpers and accents into the magnetic color - which is a little lame if you're already going with that color.

Honestly, I've been cross shopping between a ranger and a colorado - so if the pricing is even close the ranger is probably winning since the colorado is a bit dated in terms of technology.

Too bad I would have been interested in the regular cab version :(

Will at least we something to go on! I'm sure these prices won't change by much.
Which means the Raptor is going to be around $49,000 to $55,000. That's going to be a bit pricey for most buyers!
But we can hope that it won't be more than $50,000.

Agreed I think they'll price it right under $50k. You waiting on the Raptor?

Makes sense. Woulda been surprised if they offered a regular cab model. And even if they did, you'd be nuts not to pay $300 extra for the SuperCab.

Hopefully this is correct/true (on the interior color selections...)

there will be an option between Ebody or Medium Stone upholstery in cloth on the lower trims and leather for the Lariat.

I got to play with the configurator while it was up and the priciest Ranger I could spec out was $47k, a Lariat SuperCrew 4x4. So it's gonna be a pretty wide price range possible, from about $24 - $47k.

Makes the Raptor an easy sell at the upper range if that holds true and it's right around $50K.

To compare, a 2018 F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4 (2.7-liter EcoBoost) prices out at $46,795 so what'll be interesting is to see how the incentives are for the Ranger compared to the F-150.
