The Stock system in the Supercab is surprisingly acceptable to me otherwise I would think about an upgrade. Will follow though.

Hey Cerwin,
..cool name,
I do concur the stocker is very respectable, even playing Hi-Res files,Im a bit of a Audiophile, and competitor in MECA,and though it sounds damn fine,it can leave alil to be desired.Again I really cant say enough about the stock head, the factory T/A is actually very good, for me,it puts the center right where it should be. A very good place to start. Upgrade will include 2 amplifiers,a pr of components upfront, and a pr of subs.

Good day FULLSCALE,
SQ,refering to Sound Quality.
SPL builds or bass builds, are about ground pounding bass.
SQ builds are focused more on the quality of music, hearing every detail,as artist had intended,in proper balance. If youve never got to hear a competition grade SQ vehicle, treat yourself. Our stock head units are capable of playing Hi-Res files, and thats impressive,as well as a great place to start.

Thanks, I’ve never been one to upgrade audio stuff but I’m always interested to see how others modify their vehicles. I’ve always just bought the best factory stereo option and been pretty happy with them!

I respect that!
I myself have always liked to personalize my vehicles in this aspect.
I do hope your taking advantage of the Hi-Res capabilities of our factory head units.

To note,
everything,(with exception of amplifiers), will be in stock locations.

If you're doing an SQ build, wouldn't you want to run your own high quality speaker wire from amps to speakers?

This might help you out though.

Do you happen to know what MS CAN under the heading of wire color refers to?

It's something like medium speed CAN. There's high speed and low speed also. These refer to CAN Bus wires for integrating aftermarket remote start systems and probably other data driven products. I didn't look at the document before sharing, I only meant to share the audio portion, oops.

Thanks.

Now back to the Audio. Factory wiring should be fine for SQ depending on what OP finds and how he navigates it all.
