I'm probably going with upsize Continental Terrain Contact A/T in a 265/65-18.

My spare is a 16" steelie.
I found a 265/75-16 is only 0.09 ' taller which match up very well,
Going with a cheap Westlake $102 tire for the spare.

I'm not sure what your question is, but here's what I did: I upsized my tires from 265/60R18 to 265/65R18 and wanted a full on fifth wheel and tire to match (I don't like the idea of being in the middle of nowhere with a crappy spare wheel or tire). I ebayed a fifth 18 inch magnetic aluminum wheel to match the ones I have and mounted a fifth 265/65R18 to it. Fits up in the spare well pretty easily (though it has to be mounted with the stem facing up, otherwise it'll mess with your departure angle)

That's one way to go.
I just posted to let others know that an almost perfect spare tire match to the 265/65-18 up size is a 265/75-16 mounted on 16" steel wheel..
For the spare I went with a Trailmaster made by Kumho. The spare won't be on too long but can be, so the steel wheel is fine.
My concern was to get the closest spare tire height as possible so I don't cook the differential if I have to go 50+ miles. The 0.09" difference is nothing.

This is the thread that shows up when I google 265/75r16 so I'll ask my question here.

Do 265/75r16 fit on a stock truck? My current tires are winter only (235/85r16 winterforce)and measure a full 32", about .5 taller than the 265's but I'm wondering if the width will be a problem.

I need to decide what size to run soon because winter is done.

If you're wanting to upsize the spare so you can have it be close to match your tires on the truck then you should be fine with that size. It's better to have a spare that is real close like that versus having me Factory spare that's nowhere near close
