Man this trucks rad! Certainly not the best off road but it ain’t the worst that’s for sure! When it starts really articulating the suspension is when it doesn’t like to get traction. So what I got is a base XL super cab 4x4. And I mean base! Not even cruise control, but I love it. If it was up to me I’d have manual windows and door locks.

Put some new 16” cheap aluminum wheels on it, built a headache rack with rails, mounted the spare in the bed, added the lights(forward and rear facing), put a hitch on it and wired up a 7 way and brake controller(tow a 23’ 6500 lb travel trailer). SVC leveling collars... I think that’s it... still running the stock dueler tires which work ok. BFG K02’s coming soon. Also going to mount a Viair on board air system where the factory spare tire was. So it’s almost done. Opinions good and bad welcome, just don’t be a jack wagon.

Nice mods so far! That wheel slip you noticed is almost certainly those highway tires. Go try the same spots again on KO2s!!

Really liking where this is heading. I like the proportions of the Supercab a lot but I just can't give up cab space like that. It looks RAD!!! :like::beer:

tires will make a huge difference.

what's the point in the bed mounted spare?
Ya they will.

Easier access when you need it, I’m mounting on board air and a train horn where the old spare was, and I like the way it looks. 5 self tappers and the whole mount comes off if I need the bed space

Are the self tappers just into the bed sheet metal or to a thicker brace or something underneath? Just wondering because if you were to hit something that’s a lot of weight in a tire and rim assembly that may tear right out of there!
