You're partially correct. If you buy a device and tunes from them, they will go ahead and set tire size for you if said device supports it but currently, the BDX doesn't support this for the Ranger. I ordered my BDX and custom tunes from 5star and spoke to them about it. I've had this device and their tune on my truck since April. Only the nGauge supports this on the Ranger thus far. I also called SCT and they said they work in cycles. They'll release the device for a vehicle (such as our Ranger) with some adjustable items, but not all. Then they'll move on to other things and revisit the vehicle later to develop and add more stuff. Tire size didn't make the first round, so they don't have it as an option yet. You can verify this by going to the SCT website and go to BDX device. Input a vehicle, such as a 2018 Chevy Silverado, then scroll down and look at the list of "What can you adjust". You'll see tire size there for that truck, but you will not see it if you input the Ranger. You'll also see this text:

WHAT YOU CAN ADJUST
Adjustable Options vary for each vehicle and are not available on all vehicles
Good to know. Thank you. How are you liking the tune from 5 Star otherwise?

It's fantastic. I've only run 93 performance since the day I got it so I can't speak to the other tunes (bought 87, 89, 91 tunes as well) but it's so much fun now. People who ride in it can't believe it's a 4 cylinder.

Will the vehicle pass emissions readiness checks with these tune files installed?

Anyone have any issues programming? I keep getting an error every time I try to program, 110B8 is the error code I get. I did update it, and it is on wifi.

I have not had any issues with my tuner or programming my Ranger.

I did get it to program. The only problem is now when I go full throttle, it goes into limp mode, and throws a P061A code. If I shut it off for a minute, it resets and goes back to normal.

Now that it is tuned, hook up a scanner to it and view the "Readiness Checks".

I have an SCT BDX I purchased for my Mustang GT. Is there a way to reprogram it to work with my Ranger? I traded the Mustang and returned it to stock before hand.

Looks like I got it! The preloaded tunes were disabled, sooooo looks like I'll be getting a custom tune soon.

Where can one get a custom tune? I’m in the same boat you are but not sure where to get a tune at. Only difference is I Have the Bully Dog BDX.
