Waiting to hear how this goes DjRobb
I’ll definitely post when it comes. I ordered from @PandaMotorworks but I presume it drop ships from the manufacturer who shows it backordered. I just looked at the picture again and I think the picture actually shows it on a truck with a bed cover. But then again it might be a stock photo, not a Ranger. Ive also seen reference to some sort of quick release bracket that they have for use with tough fitting tonneau covers. Anyway, I’ll post when I get it.

I have one. I bought it through the dealer's parts department the first week I had my truck. I comes in pieces you have to assemble.

Do I like it? Eh! It is just 'OK' I thought the one I had for my old Sport Trac was much nicer looking and I definitely liked the Sport Trac's method of mounting much nicer. Securing the extender in the 'extended' positing with fabric straps seems pure 'Rube Goldburg' to me.
+1 totally agree. I had a sport trac too - the straps is just lame and I will likely never use them.

It's on. :D

Had to buy a rivet gun.

Instructions is fairly simple. You need to read it carefully because some parts only fits in one direction.

And I'm happy the bolts screws directly into the holes you see on the side when you put the tailgate down.

It doesn't look like a standard 4-wheeler would fit with this on. I like the materials used for this extender more than the version that goes to the corners, but I think I will be forced to use the other version due to the maximizing of the bed space. Can you confirm if a 4-wheeler will fit when using this extender?

I'm thinking from this member's post that a 4-wheeler won't fit in this members bed because of the roll up hardcover and the arc of the extender.

Finally got my extender installed! Hardest parts of the installation were cleaning the holes out that the bolts go into as the factory spray in bed liner material had closed them off quite a bit. And I definitely recommend the rivet gun for the installation as well! Got one for $10 at Harbor Freight and did the job just fine! Lastly, the extender does remove very easily by rotating it to a 45 degree angle towards the back and lifting up to remove! So you can easily install and uninstall the extender itself as needed! And for volume representation, went to Sam's Club yesterday and fit an entire full shopping cart worth of items in the corral the bed extender makes in the back, so there is definitely a good amount of space! happy with it so far!

Thanks for the photos...could never find a good side shot to see how close to the end of the tailgate it goes.

Will have to wait for their moto version...need the extra length for my bike. This is one they make for the old Ranger.

Has anyone installed the bed extender with a drop in bed liner? Looks like the top holes for the brackets are cover by the bed liner, so I guess I would need to drill holes.
I have the drop in bed liner as well but looking at the instructions that were posted, the brackets are mounted to the sides with plastic spacers underneath so I am assuming the plastic spacers are replaced by the drop-in liner itself (one or both, won't know until I see it in person) and the only issue is locating the holes to drill through the bed liner. For this I will either measure it out or pull the liner back, install the screws behind the bed liner and give it a slight whack with a dead blow hammer to get the impression of the screw head in the back of the liner for location.

I received the AMP HD Max Bed Extender and installed today. Looks great and fits great with my BakFlip MX4. Plenty of clearance to flip in and out. There weren’t instructions in the box but they are available at the site below and there is a trick or two worth reading. I did not use the plastic spacers that were provided because I did not need them for clearance. Install maybe took 20 minutes. Quite easy.

I talked to AMP and they currently have no plans to make a moto version...so when I installed mine I left the bottom bar with the normal overlap, extended the middle bar a bit and the top one a bit more, to better clear a motorcycle wheel. I riveted all three bar levels on both sides for more strength.

Thanks for posting the results. I'm happy to see this; that's the very extender I want to get but I was concerned it wouldn't work with a bed cover.

Just ordered the Amp HD $260 on Amazon and will be here Friday, along with Extang Solid Fold 2.0 tonneau cover.

Truck looks great. I'm curious about your bed mat. Your garage says "Impact Mat". If you have time could you share some details about where you got it, installation and how you like it so far. Thanks.

Thanks. I’ve been very hard on the Mat. Concrete blocks. Wood, gasoline spills no problem. I like that it prevents stuff from getting in the hinge gap. It’s soft on the knees and feet too. Installation was as easy as putting gown the included velcro. It’s made by bedrug:
