Any idea what the problem could be? I have only driven it on paved roads (500 miles) and it’s frustrating that I’m already taking it into the dealer

Sounds rotational to me so in the wheel? Bet it is just something lose and an easy fix. Sure it is frustrating but new vehicles and especially new product runs tend to have minor issues.

Something is stuck between the rotor and the heat shield. I had a piece of grass (big and dry) making that same noise.

most likely gravel stuck.....would be worth taking a quick look.

had that happen on my F-150 a couple times. The joys of living on a gravel road.

I had something similar happen on Saturday - backing up a trucklength or two forced the gravel out and after that all was good. Driving miles on gravel roads can do weird things sometimes.

So the left front backing plate was bent and the brake rotor was rubbing against it. Kind of a pain but it was covered under warranty.
