Gator EFX Hard fold cover - $599/free shipping.

Been doing some research and came up with this one not only for the price ($599) but seems to be simple install and use. It sits upon the rails and looks nice. Anyone install this one yet? Who did you purchase from? Any reviews? Thanks.

There are a few other models like the Xtang 2.0 for more money but this one is the *least expensive hard alternative available that looks viable for $599 + Tax..

I definitely reccommend the gator efx. I'll send you some pictures of it later, but so far its awesome. The waterproofing is excellent, drove thru a high pressure car wash and minimal water got in. The install can be a bit finicky but otherwise it is pretty straightforward. Light than most hard fold tonneaus to me. No way to use all of the bed without removal? I like my MX4 and I can flip it up when I need to.

I got my cover from Realtruck, cheap Gator but it serves my purpose, think they had a policy where you could return and get something different if you wanted, no issues here, they just sell the product so hard to see what the problem could be. I would like to upgrade to a hard flush mount cover.

Here are some pictures. You can see the water channel and 3 clamps per side. To fully take it off you have to loosen 2 knobs per side. Also has clips to hold it folded down up front. Secure and flush enough to the bed for me.

No it does not, it stays secured and flat. I wasn't a fan of having it flip up like that.

I got my truck and my EFX cover last week. I just tried to install this weekend and ... the rails in the EFX kit are 5" too long for the bed! The cover is the right size but the rail isn't right. I'm assuming they miss packed some other trucks rails. Super bummed

I ordered direct from Gator and called yesterday. Closed at the weekends.

Hoping they'll send me this expedited next week. Looks like a great cover but for $600, I do expect them to put the right stuff in the box!

Purchased mine from GatorCovers, during the July 4th Sale. Purchased for $479.20. Installed in about an hour. Mine fits perfectly. Took it through the car wash just to test it out and only leaks a little bit, from the corners. Overall, i'm happy with my purchase.

Finally got new rails shipped. Took about a week. Fitted today, only as I was doing it realized a page of instructions on installing the bulk head was missing! Fits well though in the end.

What is the length of the cover when fully folded?. From rail closest to the glass (placing the lip of a measuring tape in the gap between the cab and the bed) to the end of the cover?
