Wrapping console

i want to try to wrap the piece of console that surrounds the gear shifter. Does anyone know how to remove this? I would like to find a color that closely matches the silver on the dash. I’d appreciate any tips you may have.

I just ordered this smaller dash kit from Rvinyl.com...I had previously ordered the larger kit, but they said the larger kit would not be produced and refunded the $. They have plenty of finishes to select from.

If you haven't seen them, aliexpress has stick on trim pieces for just about everything. I have not tried any of them so I can't say for sure that they fit.

It (the dash kit) just came yesterday..truck is still a month away.

Not too impressed with the contact-paper feel and look, although it does brighten up the drab cabin a bit. I will leave it on for now, and see if it grows on me.

Ok, so here is only a few PARTS of the the R-Vinyl (www.RVinyl.com) dash kit.

I already pulled it off from the head light surround and the square around the 8” screen; since the fit and stick was not good. I also, skipped all the areas that came to cover the glossy bronze OEM finish n dash and doors, since I like those areas as is.

Since it went on well on the lower center dash & console (around the hazards & heating controls, and around shifter and cup holders) I will keep it going on those areas for now.

Overall I am NOT impressed and having done many molded and flat dash kits over the years, I will wait for one of those kits to hit the market and redo.

Has anyone seen and applique like wood grain or carbon fiber for the center console around the shifter for Lariat 4x2 ? Not a decal though,maybe something a little thicker. Thanks Bret

I contacted dashkitspecialties.com they dont have an eta yet on if they will make Ranger dash and console kit.The kits they do have look real nice. Bret
