Yes the project was complete back on August 26th, but I have been super busy and haven't had time to share, or even get back on the forum. My roof, mirror caps, fender emblems/vents, and Raptor grille are now all a nice gloss black. I used Autoflex Express removable paint to do this.

Glad to help! I personally love the way a white truck looks with a black roof and other black accents.

I had my Mazda done years ago. It’s a pearl white so I thought they’d look pretty good together in the driveway!

Confirmed that the Ranger antenna base comes off like other Ford shark fin antennas. It isn't difficult, but it takes some time.

Remove rear grab handles.
Loosen the top part of of C-pillar trim lower half (or completely remove the trim piece).
Remove upper rear seat belt bolts (T47 torx).
Loosen and remove upper C-pillar trim.
Carefully pull the rear portion of the headliner downward enough to get your hands above it. If you have the sliding rear window, the top window track is in the way of dropping the headliner down, but you can work it past that.
With the rear sliding window open, you can easily reach in above the headliner and access the bottom side of the antenna.
Grab an 8mm ratcheting wrench or small ratchet with an 8mm socket and remove the bolt and clip holding the antenna base on. You might be able to squeeze the metal retaining clip enough to pop the antenna base up and off the roof, but I couldn't get it so I just removed the bolt and clip.
Unplug the 2 connectors seen in the pics.

I can get more pics if needed.

I need to see if my Fusion antenna functions with it. If it does I'm going to switch to the Edge full shark antenna like I did on my Fusion.

What is the reasoning behind switching antennas?

Yeah the stick does look dumb, and sticks up too high. If you figure this out, I'd be interested to see the outcome.

I might, but its pretty low on my priority list, especially after seeing them turn orange and brown.
I understand your hesitation, I've had mine since installing Marth 15th and haven't had a problem w/ color change.
It's also got a 1-year warranty so could be replaced if any issues.

Ever get the chance to check this out?
No, I"ve been on to other things and just removing the stick has been good for now. Probably just gonna find a plug for it at this point.
