Hi,

After adjustment...could you share pictures of what it looks like around the headlights?

Thanks,

It didn’t matter what time of day, or what the temperature was, the fenders had to be pulled out.

How does a Ranger get out of the factory and delivered by the dealer that way?

I'm disappointed with the Ranger's fit and finish. Great truck except for those issues on many made.
My hood is off a bit which I'll fix thanks to Cape Cruiser. My tailgate to one side gap is larger and paint spray over dust spot issue.

Phil,I thought it would open up around the headlight also but it doesnt seem bad to me. Driver side could come out more but that would require enlarging the hole in the fender,so its good for now.

Pop the hood and you will see 3 10 mm bolts on top of the fender. Loosen the bolts and lightly pull out fender and tighten bolts. My rearward bolt was maxed out in its hole and the fender is slightly still off but only about a 1/16,I could open up the hole but for now its much better.
Thanks, Cape. I did the adjustment today. Like your truck, it's almost perfect but close enough unless you know it's off a bit. I don't feel like dremeling the fender screw hole end a tiny bit bigger to slide out the fender more for a perfect fit. Maybe in the future but I doubt it..

My hood needs adjustment too. I noticed that the front of the hood does not align with the grill. The driver side either needs to be pulled back towards the windshield or the passenger side needs to be pushed out towards the grill. I'm taking mine back to Ford for this adjustment.

Quality control at the Ford plant needs attention. These types of things should be caught during the final inspection and just just rushed out the door.

My hood looks like this also, how difficult is the fix?

Very easy,5 minutes per side. Loosen bolts on top of fender and lightly pull fender outward and tighten bolts.

I feel like the gap is too large.
Hard to tell from picture angle but maybe rubber stops under the hood behind headlights could be lowered to close hood a little bit
the sunlight wasn’t at a great angle but it did have the overhang like yours. I lowered the stops at the front and moved the fenders outward. It looks much better than it did!

I have this issue too. I am pretty meticulous and noticed my passenger side fender is too inset vs the driver side causing a slight overhang of the hood lines. I'll be taking it to the dealer to fix but mine looks the same as the pics posted.
