I want to add fender flares to my Ranger.

So far the options appear to be:
Air Design bolt on look, along with their front bumper extensions
Bushwacker bolt on look (no bumper extensions)
Bushwacker smooth look (no bumper extension)

Unfortunately, I don't like the fake bolt on look, and I don't like the look of the flares when they don't have a matching extension on the front bumper.

Obviously the overseas Ranger Raptor flares won't work since their fenders and box sides are all different.

Can someone please make a small flare extension for the front bumper already?!?

Exactly. Those are the Air Design flares. If they didn't have the fake bolt on look, I would have already ordered them. They have an integrated mud flap portion that sticks out a little past the flare, which is nice.

that would be the fake bolt-on look he specifically asked to avoid...
It's the only one that I've seen. So there's that.

go to Bushwackers they have just came out with them. I went to my dealership and had them order them at less then advertised. Three weeks out, have the mounts for the exsisting positioning lights in front

Yes I know Bushwacker has the smooth looking flares, but they don't have the flare part that attaches to the sides of the front bumper. That's the part needed. If you look at a Ranger from the front that has these flares on it, it looks really dumb because the flare stops at the front of the front fender, leaving the front bumper narrower than the fender flares. I'm trying to find a pic to show what I mean.

Finally found a pic of what I'm talking about. This truck does have the bolt on looking Bushwackers, but you get the point

And here's the same truck after adding the Air Design bumper extensions.

Are you talking about a flare that will attach to the front bumper? Where did you find them on Bushwacker's site?

Hi Troy,

That front nose shot looks weird....do not care for the way the fender flairs terminate....

Exactly. This is what I am trying to avoid. I really don't understand why a company would manufacture a set of fender flares that look like that.

Could, in the picture, the flairs not be installed properly, big gap in front with the bumper?
