Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

I can get you the build date and some other information off your VIN, but once the unit is sold it is taken out of the Visibility system and all details are lost, at least on what I can access.

It shows in transit but do you have more details than that?

Does this mean they will have made more than 100,000 Rangers for 2019? This looks to me like it will be the 107,374th Ranger of 2019? And they will still have another month or more of 2019 production before they start the 2020s.

Maybe not. I ordered mine on 7/30 and as of today, 8/20, I still do not have a VIN from my dealer.

I would guess that is a dealer issue, not a Ford issue. There have been a LOT of reports of people not getting VINs from the dealer in a timely manner. I would press your dealer to get your VIN. You should have it by now.

I believe your dealer is mistaken. Your Ranger was most likely scheduled to be built the week of 9/23/2019, with a delivery date in October.

Your build date is actually the 16th. The 12th is the week it was scheduled to.

The Military Autosource tracker is showing a delivery date of 15 December 2019.

The Military Autosource tracker is showing a delivery date of 15 December 2019.

It was shipped by rail today. ETA in the system is showing as October 29th to November 4th, but that might be when it's received by the military. I've tried to track a military order before. There's going to be a point that I lose the ability to get updates. I think that's it.

Yes, it's showing as a dealer stock order. It's scheduled to be built the week of October 14th.
