I bought this pressure washer from Lowe’s during the 4th of July sale, it’s pretty impressive for $89 bucks. I have a giant hot water 2,000 psi plus pressure washer at work but it’s ridiculously loud and emits a small cloud of diesel smoke when you pull the trigger, not exactly neighborhood friendly.. After a good pressure rinse, the soap nozzle dilutes the soap in the tank at a 10:1 ratio, being electric, it’s easy to spray a section, wash, and move to the next one. I’m a big fan of the spray on wax, it goes on everything. I use it after every wash, I haven’t used any other wax on the ranger. The pressure washer isn’t strong enough to do any serious damage to a truck or car, we use it for a lot of other cleaning jobs too.

Good Morning. Question: does this eliminate the need for hand washing with a sponge or whatever or is it just a high pressure rinse/soap application?

Thanks

Looks good! Been thinking about getting an electric pressure washer for this as well.

No, in addition to - speeds the washing process up. Just use the "wash" foam to clean the vehicle, then with your mitt go over the applied foam. I also use it to apply an automotive degreaser like "clean slate" to my Ranger.
Amazon ~$16

Like DIYAndy said, no, it doesn’t, but by removing 99 percent of the dirt and bugs on there with water alone, there’s significantly less scrubbing and potential for scratching. I’ve been using this soap, the high pH aids in de greasing, but it doesn’t seem to remove wax which is nice. It rinses particularly well too.

I have the Harbor Freight with the Wand for Foam Cannon connection from Amazon. Perfect to wash the truck. Foam, mitt cleanse with 2 bucket method and one separate bucket for the lower areas, tires and wheel wells .

A high pressure "foam cannon" will complete everything you need, for your pressure washer, to clean/wash/wax your Ranger;)
I have one, I add a little bit of Dawn to the car soap to make it shaving cream consistency.

Just a note - adding Dawn to the wash will strip off wax - at least some of it. I never realized that until a couple years ago, and now only use car wash soap.[/QUOTE]

No need to add Dawn to make the foam stick, just change the Foam Cannon Orifice part, $5 on Amazon to the 1.1 aperture, and your foam is thick and does not drip down.

Which harbor freight unit do you have? I have the Portland 1750 psi, didn't realize it was proprietary connections until after I opened it. Got it cheap too.

Yes, you can still get the diff hose and fittings for it. That's the one I have
