I have been noticing my Intelligent Access seems to be too sensitive. If I touch the lock button on the back door to lock, it unlocks as I walk past the front door. Earlier my wife walked by my truck with her key in her purse and the truck kept locking and unlocking. She never touched any part of the truck. I have had these systems on my last 5 cars and I have not seen anything like it. Has anyone else experienced this?

This is common to most vehicles with keyless entry.

Can confirm, i literally got sent around to all the local dealers to pour water on the capacitive door handles to see if they unlocked. Was fun explaining to the sales guys why we wanted to borrow keys to pour water on door handles...

It's been a difficult issue to solve since capacitive sensors work based off changes in capacitance in their environment, and water tends to change capacitance similar to fingers.

Easy fix when I wash mine I put the keys inside, no lock unlock issue, when it is in my pocket when I wash the door handle it would lock and unlock, problem solved with the key in the truck
