Everything will depend on what goal you have. If you want to spend the night in the backseat, this is a good option with perfect dimensions. If you have a long journey, it will become a problem for your back, then you can also look at regular mattresses https://www.talkaboutsleep.com/best-mattress-for-heavy-people/ . The main thing is to choose the right size. It looks ridiculous, but it is only before you use it :)

My friend had a forced trip a LONG MONTH and he says that if it were not for this strange idea, he would have serious back problems. Strange logic, but from the principle does not want to stay overnight in hotels, only washing things and showers.

Guess that would be better than the doghouse, move over little dog. I am wondering how I would crawl in and out of that, scoot to the edge and slide down? Curious to see if others have used this.

That is funny Cody you left out the activity that goes between anyone and one of these. LOL What is the distance between the doors?

Wonder if you could put a piece of plywood on top of the mattress to create a "platform" for gear - bins and suitcases.

Would love to get one of these for my SuperCab to make it more dog friendly.

I've slept in the backseat (well I've taken a few naps at lunch). I'm 6' 1". My legs have to go out the window but I could see this being used on trips if you're not comfortable in the truck bed. Personally, even without an air mattress the truck bed is more comfortable. YMMV.

I'm interested now! Wonder how well this would hold up with my big dog(s)?
Where is this available?

Works out pretty good. I'm 5'11" and if you lay on your side and bring your knees up it's actually comfortable for a quick nap.
