It's easy to remove the seat cushions, but has anyone removed the seat backs without damaging them? If so, how did you do it? I want them gone to make room for an organizer that has a gun safe and rod holder!

I have yet to figure out how to remove the rear seat from my super crew.

You can buy just the top trim for 60$, if I recall correctly? Then plywood for the back panel. Personally, I added jump seats back in, but they're much flatter than the oem seats.

For anyone else looking to try the rear seat delete, here are the part numbers I ordered (in non-pdf form):

• 1x Back Panel Trim - Ford (KB3Z-2140374-AA)
• 1x Upper Trim - Ford (KB3Z-21466A16-AA)
• 4x Back Panel Trim Rivet - Ford (W716515-S300)

I just ordered these - so no idea how well it will work yet. Will update when in and installed.

However, be VERY careful to order the first 2 parts ENDING with "-AA". There are also the same part numbers with "-BA" versions. Those "-BA" versions are the same back trim parts for use WITH SEATS - not the delete parts.

After removing the seats, I took the opportunity to install sound deadening, before installing the back panel, Works and looks great

are you going to take the seat belts out also ? Be pretty sweet if you could find the side trim without the belts in it ... or turn them into ratchet straps somehow , i cuss mine every time im back there , useless...

Seat belts have explosive pre-tensioners, just gonna leave them for now. unplugging them causes the BCM to have a hissy fit.

Probably a way in forscan to tell it no seatbelts , but probably not worth it , I just hate the fact that they are there in the first place ...

I'm using it "as is" to get a feel for how the space works, maby a fold up platform to retain access to the jack.
