Hey guys,
Bought my truck almost two weeks ago and looking for a cover for the back. I think I have narrowed it down to Real Truck house brand Gator FX3 or the GatorTrax MX. I realize that the later is twice the price and willing to go that route if the quality is there. My concerns are water intrusion in the rain and security. Is one more secure than the other? And durability, reading some having major issues after 2-3 years with seals, etc.
I like the ability to lock the MX in any position and separately from the tailgate and I don't really like the trifold position against the cab for the FX3, but at under $800 I am willing to deal with that. With the MX, rolled up, how much bed access is lost with the canister?
Offering 20% off currently so looking to move on something today or tomorrow. Any suggestions on each? No place has these locally in stock so I am 100% dependent on internet reviews.
