Hey josh nice to see you’re progress I live in South Bay too. New to the truck world but not to the modding world. Just bought my ranger and it’s getting delivered this week. Will be doing a sema build w it so it’s gonna get nutty. Lift wheels tires bumpers and camper are already here. But once I get the truck we should compare some notes

Not sure I want to give them up right away. But possibly. You looking to go back to stock or upgrade?

Nah, I have just the regular Lariat front bumper, but I'm not sure if it will be a direct fit replacement, or if it's better for me to just look around for a good looking aftermarket upgrade. Just thinking out loud mainly.

Would there be any problem when aired down?
Its tough to say, but I think with enough of an air down and a little bounce, I'm 90% sure they'd rub.

Wonderful video !
I can’t get the clips at the bottom of the stock grill to release. What is the trick?
Thanks,
Mark

I do not know if you have the 2 lower clips on the sides (1 each) released, but I had to unclip those first and then the bottom 2 were easy.

I’ve tried wedging the stubby screw driver on the top side of the tab to release the catch. Is that the right move? Does the grill pull straight out? It looks like there may be a couple tabs along the bottom edge that may fit into the grill piece to hold in place?
Thanks

Yes, it pulls straight out. Do you have the 2 side clips released, they are near the bottom but on the SIDES. I do not believe they were covered in the video, but those 2 need to be released before the bottom ones, at least for me. I did have a light scratch on the top side of the bumper when I pulled mine out. Not bad, but you may want to put some masking tape down just below the bottom of the grill.

is that the tricoat white? It is absolutely gorgeous! I got the hot pepper red but I like the white, magnetic, saber, and the blue. One of the hardest choices was the color. The other was forking out close to 50 g's for the fully loaded lariat. Its worth it though I'm in love.

That's what I put on mine (with UCA's). I think you're going to like it a lot.
