Well done! What altitude were you at? Temp, weather conditions? I had to stay off the good rubber due to my off road tires. If I really want to do better I would probably need to put some highway slicks on since I'm not going to trailer my Ranger to the track...lol! Will try and put my slips up before I head to the fights if I get back in time.

90 degrees , sea level..could not make it hook up... can’t do a good burnout without line lock or a trans brake..definitely need cheater slicks..now to find rims with a proper offset.
Regards

Just ordered Mickey Thompson 11.5” drag radials

Edit: I had to cancel the order because there are no drag race wheels for the ranger. Anyway, I got some 17x9” wheels and 265/65 tires, so we will see.
Regards

Most boring drag race ever...

I had a great time today but it's hard to get a good ET when your qualifying runs are early morning and your first race is in the afternoon. She just wants to go FAST! We both broke out but my opponent broke out less...lol! Still trying not to sleep at the tree, I'm going to try leaving on the second yellow next time.

That day was 10.19 due to the fact I knew I would go faster in the afternoon. Of course like the time before I went faster...:(
Yeah..dialing in a turbo should prove to be a chore..we will find out....air density and all.
Regards
You are doing a good job!

12th of next month I will do my first 1/4 mile passes! I'm hoping its a good day, recently the weather up here has been bi-polar. Looking forward to a picture of the new tires when you get them Doc!

Just the back wheels are done. Same overall height, just wider...now to lower the truck to the tires..we will see..

Interesting choice with the offset, I'm assuming you don't intend to take it off road with the highway tires of course. She should go nice and straight down the track though. I'm wondering what Calvin will be relieving himself on in the future...;)

Since I'm just doing it for fun I doubt I will switch tires but who knows what the future will bring, the Ranger looks good in and out of the mud though...;D

yes, I’m just going to try these and see how they work and yes, no off-roading. If they don’t work I’ll go back to stock, 25lbs air, without brake boosting it..
