Probably a good question to have asked before you bought it! I highly doubt you can add afterwards.

From what others have posted previously, the e-locker is a different unit installed at the factory. In other words, they have 2 rear ends to install-- one with an e-locker and one without. So, it's not possible to install one unless you swap the entire rear end out with an e-locker unit. Maybe ARB will come out with an air-locker kit.....

You'd probably be better off finding out what rear axle is used, ie Dana, Ford, and then installing the appropriate p/n True Trac or Trac Lok.

Dana M220 is the rear I believe. Should be lots of lockers eventually as it's similar to what Jeep is using. The issue is I have read that the gears are welded to the carrier, so a carrier change might require gears to be changed too.

That said, the brake actuated LSD is actually ridiculously good for a software solution so you "probably" don't really need the E-Locker. All in all you should have gotten an FX4 :)

You could also call Eaton, I believe they are the OEM supplier for the locker, they may have one you could buy, and wire a separate switch for.

Sorry about your luck.

THIS FITS A RANGER WITH A NON-LOCKING AXLE M220
Hey man question for ya. How do I verify I have the M220 32 spline? I'm interested in going the Trutrac route but installers are hesitant because they can confirm the fitment. Appreciate the input!
