I am planning on using that switch panel but I plan on using some variety of distribution box to keep all of additional accessories separate from the factory wiring.

Thanks...I didn't even have to permanently mount the power box...it just sit on top of the battery and never moves:like:

The SPOD (especially with the digital touchscreen) and the Switch Pros 9100 are great kits. If you can handle the extra cost, the SPOD has a smaller footprint for the main unit and the very cool touchscreen. We run the Switch Pro in our Tacoma TRD Pro shop truck and have been very happy with it. We believe there's a company or two working on a custom mounting solution for the SwitchPro switch controller faceplate as well.

We stock both units and offer forum member discounts!

Fairly easy and cheap solution I am using right now: 12v wireless switch from the battery to the lights, no drilling through the firewall required. I mounted one of the remotes inside of the door pocket, out of site. The other I keep on a keychain and it allows me to remotely turn my lights on and off. The only problem I have with the setup is no independent light control if I wanted to add more. If you want to control multiple lights it will be all on, or nothing.
