Got the Go Rhino black exhaust tip installed today. This one is a 10 inch length with 3 inch inner. Easy bolt on and was only about $40

They also have chrome. Next up the RB10 running boards with drop downs

I am gonna do that too. I don't like the look with the just the black tip. The exhaust pipe needs to be black also.
I took the tip off, painted back to the muffler, put the tip back on the next day after the paint was good and dry. The tailpipe actually looked pretty good with just the black paint.

Thanks, I see them now on the Ford accessories site with a change to the last digit in the part number (most likely a next revision). Looking at my truck, there does not appear to be much in the way of hardware to mount it by but I see a clip in one of your pics. Is the entire flap just clipped in place? Again, sorry for hijacking the thread!

A few clips and you have to drill a few holes,20 minute job to do all four

After install, looked like the lower lip might collect exhaust moisture, so made a drain

I've been reading reviews that powder coated tips don't last and will fade or peel. What are your guys experience with black powder coat on exhaust tips? I prefer to get a black powder coat but wary of how long the finish last.

I plasti-dipped the tips on my Ram 2 yrs ago....no issues. Plasti-dip is supposed to resist temps up to 200 degrees. If the finish goes bad on mine, I'll be P-dipping it.

I've had the tip for a couple of months but I never painted the exhaust. You guys convinced me to do so. I just did and the paint at the tip is still a bit wet.
I used Rustoleum High Heat paint without the primer. Went with 3 coats.Youtube Rustoleum directions show after an hour run the engine at idle for 10 minutes. Then cool 20 minutes. Then idle for 20 minutes and cool for 20 minutes. Followed by a half hour ride. Seems like a lot of crap to do for a foot of painted pipe. :)

I've had this tip probably 3 months now but my truck only two weeks so I decided to finally install it. Overall I’m pretty satisfied and I like the contrast vs. the stock pipe. I also drilled a small drain hole.

Hey guys. So I just attempted to install this tip yesterday and it does slide on very easily however, no matter how much I crank the clamp it doesn’t want to tighten and it still slides off. I think the issue is the spacer inside the clamp itself. Anyone else have this problem and know if it can be removed?

I had to crank mine down pretty good to get it to grab. At first, it felt like it was the wrong size but I kept turning the bolt and it finally held, probably should have shot some wd-40 on it to begin with to let it turn better.
