Lariat 500 Adding Key Remote Start?

So my dad got a 500 package Lariat doesn’t have Remote start of course via the key but had Ford Pass do you know if you have to enable something via Ford scan to program a key to utilize remote start or can we just program a remote start key and it should work? Curious to see if anybody has even tried doing this before.

There's another thread about doing this on an XL or XLT without the remote starter option, not sure how far they got on that one.

I can probably get an asbuilt for the BCM and the IPC from a Lariat 501a with rear locker. My guess is the answer is in the differences between yours and the one with Remote Start.
