It sometimes depends but I would say a majority of the time 80 to 90% of the time it’s not even noticeable.
Power brake it to 2500 rpms from a dead stop and then make an assessment .

Do people recommend putting any sort of oil or lubrication on any of the parts when installing? First time ever installing something like this.... not concerned about the install just the overall lifetime of the product.

The directions did say to lube the plunger. I used a bit of 5w30 on it.

Received mine from @PandaMotorworks a few days ago and just installed it. Super easy installation, used Mobile1 5w-30 for the plunger. In terms of noticing a difference, I only notice a quicker response after full throttle, letting off, and then back on, which is more in line of what I was expecting. I didn't get it for the sake of burning rubber, but having towed a few things in the past week, it should be nice when trying to merge onto highways.

I need to make sure of something that appears obvious.
This part I have the arrow on also comes out?
Feels like a tight fit. Don’t see how it would fit otherwise but it’s snug.

That's the crackly part I mentioned that is removed with pliers.

I'm no mechanic so I'm scared to death of this but reading the forum and watching the youtube video's looks like it's a really easy install for us since it's mounted right on top. Seriously considering pulling the trigger on this since I checked and the Ranger10 code still works @PandaMotorworks

it was an easy install, thanks to the posts here. The only thing I forgot was to put a little oil it, so I had to take it back off to do that.

Response improves for sure.

I’ve been doing some research on this and I think I’m going to go for it but I had a question. Is it true if you put to much oil/grease on the piston you will get a flutter? Is everyone oiling the piston? Liberally? Lightly?

takes very little oil to get the job done. Dip your finger in the oil and rub on the piston, call it good. The manual says to make sure it moves in and out freely, job done. No grease, stay with oil, I used royal purple 5w 30. Haven't seen anything about flutter.
