Mine showed up correctly from day 1 on the iPhone app. But the online version (owner.ford.com) still shows just the gray outline. And worse, it frequently lists incorrect information about my Ranger. Today it shows over 13,000 miles on the odometer, but I don't even have 2,000 miles yet.

Look at that 13,000 reading again. Is it really Miles to Next Service instead of your Odometer?

No, it's estimated mileage. Just logged in again, now it's showing 1,857 as estimated mileage, with 18,143 to next service.

LOL Maybe I clunked instead of clinked. I have a old school computer, I have to use a old mouse. I see in the news that thief's have already learned to steal the codes off of the keys and start the vehicles with push button start.

Somewhat interestingly, the Fordpass app isn't susceptible to the RF hackers that you mention because it's using the cellular connection. Instead, you have all the usual modern day internet security issues like servers getting broken in to. Lol

Silly question... Is the cellular connection in the truck for using Fordpass app to start truck a subscription service we have to pay extra for? I remember looking at a laptop long ago that had cellular modem plus wifi. Needed to get a separate cell service similar to a cell phone to use. Went the wifi only laptop route instead.

The hotspot and Fordpass (start/lock/unlock) are separate things. Hotspot is a paid for service. Nobody seems to know what the Fordpass features will cost after the free year is up.

Thanks, I am not looking to sign up for more subscription fee programs. Everybody seems to want your money. :headbang: :punch:
