I have discovered that this black "decal" does not hold my fingerprints, a very good thing if you drive dusty dirt roads.

About half of all roads are dirt roads in New Mexico because we are mostly desert here.

Hmmmm....Certainly a different look. If you knew how much review and market testing went into decisions like this to be body color or blacked out, you would be amazed...this is not taken lightly, but likely market testing showed a vote for black out. I have a white Ranger and the blackout compliments the interior of my vehicle, so sticking with the black out. Also, things test different regionally. For example, we had a Blueish purple color that tested well, but not in Texas...Trucks do not look like Barney in Texas.

Rinn69, saw your post and felt inspired to try on my less than 200 miles Supercab.
Here's the effect.

On the Crew Cab, it is possible to remove that third decal - on the other side of the rear window? MT19RANGER's post shows the diagram (yellow decal) from the Ford parts site.

Man the Supercabs look good. Sure wish I could get away with not having the back seat.

I'm not sure...didn't look at it, but after looking at my pic, I don't think it would look good...such a small area and the black trim running vertically between the window and the decal. I'll keep mine like it is.

I prefer the black vinyl on all colors.

@Rinn69 Thanks for pioneering this de-badge element!

It looks very good good on the blue and the magnetic, the crew and the supercab!

Essential de-badging for me: ecoboost, sport badge, and window divider vinyl, will leave the tiny red 4x4 if it is separate from the sport decal.

I can't decide on this. It looks good except for the top. The body line there just looks out of place

After removing the EB emblem, dealer sticker, and 4x4 stickers, I tackled the blackout decals between the windows....EASIEST mod EVER !!! Took less than 5 minutes. Just start peeling from the inside of the door, get it unstuck across the top, and pull down slowly. It will pull from under the rubber and behind the edge all in one clean pull. Once you get to the bottom, pull from one side and it will come off from under the bottom rubber portion. More pics in my garage "Rinn's Ranger"
