To go to the other extreme:
This assumes you intend to do closer to 3k oil changes.
5QT CQ620-5QT (Conventional 5-30 SN-Plus) 18.18 (w/ monthly oil change special)
2QT CQ620 (Conventional 5-30 SN-Plus) 9.98
1 CQ R85348 (standard filter) 3.81 (w/monthly oil change special)

Total = 31.97 (Walk in pricing!)

Some may get antsy with putting conventional in a very new engine but Motocraft oil recommended for the engine is only semi-synthetic.

There is a night and day difference between conventional and semi-syn. Plus, your conventional oil will not have the formulation and additives to control detonation which is a huge problem on these new turbo charged engines. It is also not worth having a warranty issue over saving 10 bucks!

40K for a truck with a modern DI turbo engine, cheaps out on oil to save 15$ 2x a year. Change out the oil for Mobil 1 from Walmart for nearly the same price and sleep easier...
