Anyone just pop off orange lens for side marker bulb change?
Seems it would be quicker and easier than going through the wheel well.

When I changed mine over I literally just grabbed the wheel liner and pulled it out, reached in turned the bulb to remove it and placed in the LED one, put it back and pushed the liner back in, took a couple minutes, no tools required. The video I used for reference is below, I never removed any screws etc.

There are a few videos on the dynamic diodes website showing it as well I believe.
Yea, it was a simple process when I did mine too.

Thanks, Guys. I will change to LED and want to buy and add Lamin-X smoke film to the orange lens. I would think it's easier to install both with the lens off.

Yea. To release the lens from the fender you need to go from behind. As mentioned no need to remove any screws. Just push back the liner and squeeze a clip on either the top or bottom of the marker. You would not be able to remove the lens from the front only.

I want to remove mine completely on both sides but they won't pop off by pushing from inside.....any suggestions? I do not want to break the Lens.

Not 100% sure but they should come out. I bet there are tabs on the inside that if pushed in the lens will work out. Likely 4 tabs, two toward top, two toward bottom. Then to install you pop it back in. Just be careful as a tab could break. I would loosen and fold back more of the lining to see. Use mirror to look around to see if you can find tabs. Last item might be to remove wheel or atleast turn to the right.

Super late reply, but I stumbled across this thread as I replaced my side marker lens with the Morimoto XB LED side markers. You’ll need to get inside your wheel liner (you can basically pry it until you get your fingers inside the lens housing). There are two clips (on the left and right side of the lens) that will pop out if you apply enough pressure. Hopefully this helps out whoever else might have been looking as I see that most of y’all opted to change the bulb itself and not the entire side marker lens.
